Argentina trip ends with big win for K.C.
Wizards to River Plate in last scrimmage in South America
First-round MLS SuperDraft pick Michael Harrington began the scoring in the 23rd minute. Midfielder Lance Watson sent a through ball to forward Ryan Pore, who beat River Plate's goalkeeper and then slotted a pass to Harrington for the goal.
Harrington scored again in the 38th minute when he bent a shot, on a nice pass from midfielder Kerry Zavagnin, into the upper-right corner of the net. The Wizards ended the first half with a 2-0 lead.
The Wizards continued capitalizing on scoring opportunities in the second half when rookie forward Willy Guadarrama scored in the 75th minute, followed by a goal from Ryan Raybould in the 80th.
The Kansas City Wizards depart Buenos Aires Wednesday and will arrive home Thursday. All Wizards players are scheduled to appear at the Wizards kick-off party at VooDoo Lounge on Saturday.
