2008: Tied for the team lead with career-high 7 assists (3 game-winners) in 29 games, all starts. Played right-sided midfielder and right-back before settling in a central holding midfield role late in the year. Named the team's Defensive Player of the Year.2007: Started career-high 27 games at his new right-back position, scored 2 goals and recorded 3 assists.
2006: Played 28 games (19 starts), scored 1 goal, and recorded 3 assists.
2005: Played career-high 29 games (6 starts) and scored 4 goals.
2004: Drafted in 5th round (43rd overall) of 2003 MLS SuperDraft. Played in 22 games (15 starts), scoring 2 goals and adding 2 assists.
2003: Appeared in 2 games (1 start) as a rookie.
NATIONAL TEAM:
Participated in two U.S. National Team camps in Carson, California prior to the first CONCACAF final-round qualifier for the 2010 World Cup versus Mexico (2-11-09).
COLLEGE:
Played at powerhouse St. Louis University (1999-2002) and finished tenth on the Billikens' all-time scoring list with 101 career points (38 goals, 25 assists). Named Conference USA Player of the Year as a senior.
YOUTH:
Member of U-18 regional team in 1998. Scored 59 goals his senior season and 124 for his career, both marks are state records at Kickapoo High School in Springfield, MO. Traveled three and one half hours every weekend to play youth soccer for Busch S.C. in St. Louis. Recruited by coach John Roeslein along with several other future MLS draft picks.
