2008: Acquired from FC Dallas in September in exchange for allocation money. Appeared in 8 games (7 starts) with the Wizards, recording 1 assist.2007: While with FC Dallas, recorded career-highs in goals (5), games played (24), games started (15) and minutes played (1,227) and added 4 assists.
2006: Set career-high with 6 assists in just 14 games (7 starts) and scored 2 goals.
2005: Scored 4 goals in MLS play and 2 in U.S. Open Cup play after being drafted in the second round of the Supplemental Draft from Maryland.
NATIONAL TEAM:
Joined the U.S. U-17 Residency Program in its inaugural year in 1999. Played with the first-ever residency team at the FIFA World Championship in New Zealand, which went on to win their group and advance to the semifinals. Also played for the U-20 National Team.
COLLEGE:
Attended the University of Maryland, where he scored 43 career goals and added 26 assists.
YOUTH:
Was the Gatorade High School Player of the Year in Virginia as a senior. Played on the Braddock Road Warhawks from U-9 to U-20 under coach Gene Mishalow. Won the U-17 National Championship in 1999.
PERSONAL:
Graduated with a degree in criminal justice in the spring of 2007. Enjoys going to the gym and reading anything by his favorite author, Hunter S. Smith. He also enjoys watching Seinfeld, The Office and 30 Rock and is a die-hard fan of the Washington Redskins. He has two younger sisters, Rachel and Emily. His grandfather fought in WWII.
