Team/Coach information:
Soccer info:
- Soccer "tid-bits":
- Did you know that an average soccer player runs 6 (+/-) miles in a 90 minute match
- An average professional soccer player goes through 20+ pairs of cleats in a single season
- Professional soccer players can strike the ball on average 70-80 mph.
- With a 60 mph shot, a goalie's wrist will recoil 6 inches!
- It takes 10 gallons of white paint to line our soccer field…that's 800 gallons of paint a year for our Wizards game-day field
- The grass is cut two times, on the same day, prior to a match
- It's cut daily regardless if we have a match or not
"Unwritten rule" of soccer:
- If a player is injured during the run of play, the ball will be kicked out of bounds to stop play so that the injured player can be attended to. Once play resumes the ball will be played back to the goal keeper or back to the team that forfeited possession and fans will applaud the act of sportsmanship.

- If people start chanting a song that you don't know, please print out the lyrics on the website and join in!

Best seats in the house! (Beware of flying balls...)
- Field Side Reserve: The Kansas City Wizards offered Field Side Reserved seating for the first time in 2007. Response was great, as the closest seats in Major League Soccer sold out in one day. Moving to CommunityAmerica Ballpark will allow the Wizards to expand Field Side Reserved seating:
- 300 Field Side Reserved seats will be available in three rows along the northern touch line.
- Field Side seats are great opportunities for businesses to purchase as hospitality perks for clients or for the passionate soccer fan to get right next to the action.
