2008 CommunityAmerica Ballpark Policies

Prohibited Items

For safety reasons, the following items are prohibited within Community America Ballpark during Kansas City Wizards' matches:

  • Aerosol Cans.
  • All bags including large purses and backpacks larger than 11" high x17" long by 10" wide. All bags must fit in a box provided at the entrance to be allowed in the stadium. An exception is made for diaper bags. All items are subject to search.
  • Balloons, Beach Balls and Frisbees.
  • Boom Boxes or other electric noisemakers.
  • Beer or liquor other than that served by Centerplate.
  • Dead or live animals, except for service animals.
  • Fireworks and flares.
  • Flammable Liquids.
  • Flasks.
  • Food and beverage not served by Centerplate, the official Concessionaire for the facility.
  • Illegal drugs.
  • Laser pens and pointers.
  • Plastic, metal or glass cups, cans or containers of any kind, with the exception of baby bottles.
  • Poles and/or rods (except in the Cauldron seating section).
  • Portable Heaters.
  • Smoke Bombs.
  • Thermos bottles.
  • Umbrellas -- In the event of inclement weather, guests are encouraged to bring appropriate apparel such as raincoats, pullovers or ponchos.
  • Un-approved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, etc.
  • Video Cameras.
  • Weapons - buck knives, guns, etc.
  • Whistles.
  • Any other item deemed to be inappropriate or dangerous by Kansas City Wizards Management.
NOTICE: Kansas City Wizards and Community America Ballpark personnel are not allowed to hold or check any items not allowed into the stadium.


Allowed Items

The following items will be allowed into Community America Ballpark for 2008 Kansas City Wizards' matches:

  • Banners to be hung are allowed. Please see the full banner policy for details of what is allowed.
  • Binoculars and binocular cases.
  • Breast Pump and supplies.
  • Diaper bags, subject to search.
  • Electrical items such as small transistor radios, small TV monitors, cell phones, etc. will be allowed through the gates.
  • However, guests may be required to turn on the equipment to verify that it is what it appears to be.
  • Fanny packs unattached from your body.
  • Flags or posters not greater in size than 3'x5'. Flags or posters on poles are only allowed in the Cauldron seating section.
  • Insulin and diabetic supplies.
  • Plastic baby bottles.
  • Seat cushions that are lightweight foam with a sealed plastic cover.
  • Still cameras and camera cases, as long as the lens in no longer than 6 inches.
